As soon as Lenore arrived on the Colossus, she went to %s, requesting orders. My goodness! I seriously thought there was something wrong with my hearing. There are so many of us on the Colossus, yet very few of us willingly seek orders from %s!
I was worried that %s might come up with something inappropriate, but %s simply told her there wouldn't be any orders here. But Lenore insisted. In the end, %s had to give in and ordered her to play a game in the Rec Room. Lenore left, fully content.
But just now, %s received an anonymous complaint that the Game Machine in the Rec Room has been occupied for days by someone who claimed to have been ordered there by the Navigator! I mean... Did Lenore actually take %s's joke to be a serious order?
Sigh... I think the girl will need some extra care.

%s gave Lenore a new order—to tell Lenore's story. Understood. Lenore will share everything that has happened to her like telling a story.
The story began when Lenore first opened her eyes.
Before Lenore could make sense of the pattern on the ceiling above, she was disturbed by noise. She found a woman sprawled on top of her who was shaking, her breaths coming out in gasps... Lenore stared at her own palm, then gently tapped the woman on her shoulder. When the woman raised her head and met Lenore's eyes, the woman collapsed onto the floor and embraced Lenore tightly, crying, "Lenore! I knew you were alive... Are you comfortable in this body?" Lenore recognized her own name, but couldn't make sense of anything else the woman said.
"Lenore, do you remember me?" Lenore stared at Mother, then shook her head. The woman's eyes went still.
"Lenore, I'm your mother. Be a good girl, and listen to Mother."
Lenore made dolls in the mornings and placed them outside the house in the afternoons. Visitors would stop by, take a doll, and leave coins behind. Mother didn't allow Lenore to interact with anyone, so Lenore would wait inside. After the visitors left, Lenore would make sure they were far away before bringing in the coins from the door. Sometimes, there were lots of coins. Sometimes, there were few. And other times, there were none. At night, Lenore would lie in bed. Mother had ordered her to, even though Lenore never rested with her eyes closed like Mother.
Sometimes Mother was home, but more often she was not. Mother would come home to wind Lenore up, but she seldomly spoke. And water never fell from Mother's eyes again.
Until one day, an unusual noise filtered through the house. Lenore ran to the door and found that Mother had returned. Mother shook the dust off her coat, then handed Lenore a parcel. A shrieking voice pierced through loudly as Lenore opened the parcel to reveal a little creature throwing punches and kicks and pushing water out of her eyes.
"This is May. From now on, you must take good care of her."
Taking care of May was harder than making dolls. She would scream, crawl everywhere, and make a mess in the rooms Lenore had just cleaned up... Fortunately, Mother was rarely home to discover that sometimes Lenore was unable to complete her housekeeping tasks.
However, accidents always found a way to take place. One time May fell off a wardrobe, and there was a hole on her body from which red liquid came flowing out. Mother had never taught Lenore what to do in such a situation. At least a doll could be sewn back together. But May was like a moving doll, so Lenore used needle and thread to stitch her up anyways. When Mother noticed the wound later on, she didn't say anything, so Lenore must have done well.
After May learned to walk, she began going outside to play with others. Not long after, she began opening her mouth to speak, like Mother. "I won't wind you up anymore. Stupid puppet!" she said.
Lenore was curious about what sorts of things people from outside the house would say to May, but all Lenore could do was remain in the corner, collecting dust.
... The mottled spots on the ceiling she had noticed when she first woke, looked like a cat.
Lenore counted 1643 days when Mother returned. She didn't say a word; it was as if she had never left. She even started coming home every day.
Except one night, May went missing. It felt like the parts on Lenore's chest broke. So Lenore opened her chest to have a look, but found that everything was normal. It was Lenore's job to take care of May, and she had to heed her orders. So Lenore dashed out... she searched every street and alley until she found May and Mother in a an unfamiliar house.
Mother said to the other person in the room, "Lady Victoria, this is Lenore, also a daughter of mine." It was only then that Lenore realized she was a daughter of Mother too, like May. Lady Victoria wanted May and Lenore to join the True Order. Lenore didn't understand any of this, but Mother ordered Lenore to join, so Lenore did.
When they returned home, Mother gave Lenore new orders: "Don't take care of May anymore." Lenore had followed all Mother's orders since the moment she'd opened her eyes, and this was no exception. So when May asked Lenore to take care of her again, Lenore said no.
But in doing so, Lenore felt... that the parts in her chest were broken again.
Hello.
Navigator, Lenore needs some fabric and thread.
Hello.
Navigator, Lenore feels strange.
Many changes have happened to Lenore since meeting you, Navigator.
Lenore feels really strong and powerful now.
Lenore wishes Navigator a good morning.
Are you hungry, Navigator?
Good afternoon, Navigator.
Good evening.
Good evening, Navigator.
Good evening.
Good evening.
So this is how it feels to have a late-night snack.
Lenore wants to make a plush toy and is searching for materials...
Lenore is a member of the True Order. Every day Lenore prays for Truth.
Lenore has heard about Northland in storybooks. You know, the books that children like to read.
May the Truth... bless you.
Many people ask for Lenore's help to beat those things. They call them Eclipsites.
May is Lenore's younger sister... Do little sisters require care... with or without orders?
Lady Victoria invited Lenore to the True Order. Lenore will listen to everything she says.
How does it feel to... like something? Will it make Lenore happy?
"Annoyance," Lenore understands. Lenore feels it when she can't complete a task.
A big house and a vehicle.
Does it have emotions?
Understood. Lenore will fulfill all Navigator's orders.
Lenore never gives up. Lenore carries on.
Report! Lenore has completed the mission.
Lenore's ready.
Will the new year be different from the ones before?
Okay. Understood.
It is like being wound up.
It feels... like getting parts replaced.
This is nice. I like it very much.
Stay put, don't move. Lenore's very good at this kind of order. Lenore used to stay put in the house and look after Mother and May's home.
Lenore feels... happy.
Alchemy... Stars.
Lenore is very obedient. But now, Lenore doesn't listen to everyone. Does that make Lenore rebellious now?
It's magical that water can shed from eyes. Lenore loves tears but people tell Lenore that tears are always associated with sorrow... Is sorrow a bad feeling?
There are so many mothers in this world... Was Lenore's mother special?
Lenore's stomach is rumbling. Is this... hunger? How strange. It's as if someone is speaking from inside Lenore's body.
Would Navigator be afraid if Lenore still looked like before? Lenore understands fear... Lenore doesn't want to make anyone afraid.
Who is Lenore? Where is Lenore from? Where is Lenore going? Do these things confuse Navigator like they do Lenore?
Navigator always says that Lenore doesn't have to comply with anyone's orders. But Lenore has chosen Navigator and Lenore wishes to listen to his command.
Whenever Navigator looks at Lenore, Lenore can't help stroking her ears. How strange. It's like a magic spell in a fairytale. Is this... shyness?
Lenore gets this feeling from the Navigator that Lenore has always wanted to understand. Navigator, is this feeling maternal love?
Sometime May comes to Lenore's mind. Lenore thinks... May must be brushing the white cat's hair. May doesn't like tangled hair.
... Is the most important organ the heart or the brain?
What should Lenore do? Without orders to execute, Lenore doesn't know what to do.
Lenore is practicing breathing. Inhale, cold air sucks in. Exhale, warm air escapes.
At daybreak, the world comes back to life. Lenore also comes back to life... What is it, has Lenore said something wrong again?
Remember to brush your teeth and wash your face. Ah... Sorry. Lenore is used to repeating that at this hour.
Lenore is still not used to closing her eyes to... sleep at night. Do you feel the same, Navigator?
Finally! Lenore has been waiting for Navigator's command. ... There is no command for Lenore to obey? ... No tasks either?
Lenore is waiting for your order.
Mother ordered Lenore to look after a child called May... A child... cries when no one takes care of it. But Lenore can't remember if anyone has ever looked after Lenore.
Before that, Lenore always thought "Mother" was just a name. After that, Lenore understood... Mother is a mother.
Mother was not home. Neither was May. Lenore finished all her tasks, but they still didn't return. Lenore replaced all her parts 502 times.
Lenore is the captain. Understood.

+Max Chain Combo is theoretically one of the strongest chain in the game
+Sanity mechanics are very fun to tinker with; 10% defense shred on all enemies is an extremely powerful buff
+Huge chain results in her being ideal for both mob clear and 3x3 bossing
+Not BT hungry in the slightest
-The 5 tile Max Chain Combo is basically flavor text unless you're going for the end of map suicide plays and/or playing with Jeno
-Difficult to play
-Equipment, while decent, doesn't particularly synergize well with the rest of her kit
-15 Tile Chain makes her a tough pick for beginners and teams without consistent conversion to hit that many tiles.
Lenore has a fairly complicated kit for what amounts to a fairly easy to understand play-pattern. Sanity is a lot scarier than it seems, but once you realize you can just use her skill once at 3x3 and once at 2x3 and then just pretend it doesn’t exist, you’re really just looking at the world’s silliest chain combo.
To elaborate a little further: Sanity isn’t exactly a debuff if you’re able to hover at 55 sanity. Permanent Poison basically means you’re dealing 10% of any difficult enemy’s HP bar for free, and a 10% Defense shred is insane (think of it as a corresponding team-wide attack buff).
On the other hand, going lower into sanity is undoubtedly a risk, and Lenore’s (admittedly hilarious) 5-chain bonus for hitting low sanity isn’t exactly enough to offset the problems it creates. In short, get to 55 sanity, and then hit cruise control. Laugh as all casual content melts before your meme of a chain. Go on the ASO discord and post funny F96 Clears. Hell, you can even replace Areia with her in all but the burstiest of content. Lenore is one of the best mobbers in the game, and for that reason, it’s hard to rate her lower than S.
