Carleen gained new insights about combat after that journey, and this lance was also endowed with different abilities. Even the exclusive mark on it changed! Without question, this means that Carleen has an unparalleled mastery of this lance.
Common Gift. Best effect when given to Lumopolis Aurorians. Thin, delicate sheet of silver as light as feather. A favorite in Lumopolis.
Common Gift. Best effect when given to noble Aurorians. Compact, light, exquisitely sculpted silver bell believed by sophisticated folks to be a good luck charm.
Valuable Gift. Best effect when given to Lumopolis Aurorians. Lumamber packaged in gold. The primary gem of high-society Lumopolis.
Valuable Gift. Best effect when given to noble Aurorians. Rare ore that shines in different colors under different intensity of light. A present among nobles.

It's so great to see Carleen on the Colossus again! I remember I used to call her "Miss Carleen" when I first ran into her here, but now... Ha ha, I think we've gotten a lot closer. How should I describe her these days? She seems more resolute and confident than before, and of course, more approachable. Before, she was a quiet person who either spent her time studying or playing chess, and was always deep in thought or working. But now, after everything we've been through, I no longer characterize her by her fancy titles. She's just a girl named Carleen who works hard for the things she believes in.

It feels kind of magical to talk to you again. But my purpose this time is not to introduce myself. Instead, I just want to tell you how I'm feeling right now. I've gained new powers. But a question follows: How should I control such powers? My answer to that is, I'm full of confidence and resolve right now. Doubting these new powers is something the old Carleen would concern herself over. Things like, how others would view it, or how these powers would change my identity. These complex thoughts would divert my attention and make me unable to focus on things I really want to change. But my attitude is different now— I no longer worry about the assumptions of others. Instead, I'll put my strength to good use.
When I was suspended from my duties, to be honest, I spent quite a long time trying to accept it. Mm... Please don't worry about me, %s. Both you and Vice had many things on your plates and I didn't want to bother you guys with something that couldn't be fixed at the moment. I was troubled because becoming the Lumo Gardens Captain was the first thing I had achieved on my own. So when it was taken, I got overwhelmed and thought I'd go back to being nothing but Schwartz's daughter again, the subject of everyone's gossiping... But luckily, the Lumo Knights helped point me in a new direction. Although I was suspended, they still delivered routine patrol reports to me in private. I asked them not to do that at first, but I soon understood why they did it. I have always been driven by my desire to protect Lumopolis and its residents, and that won't change with my identity.
My understanding of the word "companion" is constantly evolving. You and Vice have infused a soul into this word... No. I don't think I was lonely in the past; it is only that now, I feel a more diverse array of emotions, and all the things I've been through with you have expanded my knowledge. The Illumina Federation and the Caelestites were things that used to serve as backdrops in books and political affairs for me. The two of you helped me realize that a person's understanding of the world stagnates when they never step out of their comfort zone. However, rather than receiving your help, I'd rather be the one aiding all of you... I want to be someone you can depend in all matters.
People always say that the first step of growth is to face our painful memories. Even if the thought of my mother and sister still steals the breath from my lungs, at the very least I'm now able to find them in my memories and face them. I believe that this might be an act of strength, as people are inclined to run away from sorrow. I know what you want to ask me. You want to know if I've found the truth and the answers I've been seeking, don't you? My answer is—not yet. I'll never stop unveiling the blanket of conspiracies eclipsed over the truth, but... this is a personal matter that no one else needs to be privy to. Every morning, when I see the bright sunlight caressing the flowers in the Lumopolis Gardens, the cheerful faces of children in Lower Lumopolis, or the happiness of vendors in the bustling markets, it occurs to me that protecting Lumopolis and its people is way more important than finding the answers I'm seeking. Nonetheless, these two things are not contradictory... Finding my answers and protecting the city and its people are the two things that I'd die for. My relentless efforts are not just for myself or Lumopolis, but to ensure that such a tragedy never befalls this continent again.
Navigator.
Navigator, do you remember
Navigator, how are you today?
Navigator?
Hello, Navigator.
It's great to see you again, Navigator.
Navigator, how are your plans going this year?
A new batch of Guardians arrived today.
Navigator.
Carleen just handled a tricky smuggling case. Let's hear what it was about.
Lumopolis is ancient and stable, but the brightness of complacency makes the shadows grow longer.
Being too rational will cause you to lose touch with your emotions. I'm afraid that if Illumina goes too far down this path, they'll become heartless machines.
White Night up high, please shine a way forward.
Light and darkness do not mix; when one wanes, the other waxes.
As the City Lord, Schwartz's responsibility is so vast and complex that I'm afraid he must sometimes compromise.
Vice was just an unassuming student from a different nation back in the day; I never paid much attention to her when we were classmates. But her reputation may well exceed mine in the future.
Without public order, civilization will collapse, bringing with it a slew of far worse consequences than disasters.
What is frightening is not the lack of powerful ability, but the lack of responsibility and principles to match it. The two traits cannot exist without the other; otherwise, disaster is inevitable.
Perhaps one day, both Lumopolis and the Colossus will become a symbol of the Aurorians.
The Colossus' flying ability is indeed excellent, and if we were to use it to patrol the territory...
I will guard this place as if it were Lumopolis, because the Colossus is your home, and we are partners.
Better retreat than lose the battle.
Leading the troops to victory is a captain's responsibility.
Ready to strike.
I am honored to be here with you and hope that we can keep moving forward together in the coming year.
My lance belongs to you.
Ignite the lance!
The glory is ours.
Light rests with the soul.
It's so relaxing... In between long journeys, I sometimes take a break, go into a trance, or recall my days patrolling Lumopolis.
Be more radiant!
Alchemy Stars.
I'm glad I ventured outside of Lumopolis. If I had been content with being the City Lord's daughter and only patrolling within Lumopolis, I'm afraid I wouldn't have discovered this side of myself.
It is futile to contemplate the good and evil of the sword because it is the hand that holds the sword that determines whether it is dangerous.
Astra should be jointly owned, managed, and built by all civilized races, which includes both the Aurorians and the Caelestites.
Act responsibly no matter how trivial the matter. Don't cross boundaries no matter how trivial the act.
There are times when strong willpower is enough to control one's own strength and change reality. This is the meaning of "mind over matter."
The road is long and difficult, but we must not give up. The path ahead is shrouded in fog, but we must keep our eyes clear.
Light can be used as a shield, such as that which Lumopolis possesses. Maybe one day, the light I have will become a shield to protect everyone, and you...
Bloodlines may determine one's power, but is it a measure of lowliness and nobleness? Does it give one the right to commandeer others? I think not.
I often wonder if we could have met earlier and if you were an Aurorian, how things would have turned out.
The mold known as decay has contaminated Lumopolis and cannot be expelled unless the source is found.
Lumopolis' future is the future of all Aurorians. Civilization, prosperity, abundance, and heritage have endured for thousands of years and will never perish.
The bloodline of heroes is important, but their decisions in times of crisis are more critical. Heroes' descendants may be cowards, while those of the nameless may be warriors.
If you want to deal with government affairs, you must pull a thread from a ball of complex issues and follow it all the way through, and then you will find the mess untangled.
If you're blessed with a ray of sunlight shining on your bed when you wake up in the morning, you will be in a good mood all day.
You must be exhausted after a long day at work. How about a break by listening to classical music?
Working in the middle of the night with strawberry coconut milk cake creates a special atmosphere.
Carleen de Schwartz is here. There's no need to be concerned about me; Frost has not abandoned me. It is just that I have momentarily chosen Flame.
Attack to overcome.
Lumina is amazing. I thought I could only control ice, never did I foresee myself wielding a flaming lance in battle.
There is no elitism in one's blood, and thus using it to designate inferiority and superiority is absurd. Superiority is established naturally by those able to earn the public's trust.
Sometimes in my dreams, darkness eclipses the light in everyone's eyes, yet I march onwards with a raised torch.
You made a wise choice.

+Low cd teleport that even syncs with 2cd converters optimally
+Good slot value with decent damage and red tile output.
+Consistent kit that leans on positioning rather than rng outcomes
+Synergizes well with nearly all Fire converters
-Needs BT3 to jump twice turn 1 rather than once turn 2
-Loses potential red tiles when setting up Maggie
-Rather strict teleport range makes positioning important to maximize value of jumps
Carmoon is an excellent addition to Fire's general roster, but she's not as broken as people initially thought. While it's true that she's fire's long-awaited select tile converter, she's got enough checks and balances to be "fair." Her damage profile is lower than even Smokey's, and the many limitations to how she places her tiles means you aren't always getting the contact points you want.
Regardless, she's a strong addition to any roster, especially given how efficient she is at BT0. Notably, she benefits from other teleporters.
Note that if you have Smokey at BT3, the two enable consistent full-circles on bosses - an unheard of proposition for Fire before her release. It's also worth noting that you can slot her in as a dedicated converter, especially in newer modes like Abyss, where your conversion is likely stretched thin.
