The collective name of "Borealis" and "Australis." "Borealis" is a double bladed spear, while "Australis" is a long spear. Beretta's amazing strength allows her to easily swing these two long weapons that ordinary soldiers need both hands to use with one hand. She can also throw "Australis" for ranged attacks.

A Lumopolis combat doctor was once saved by a doctor called John. Since then, she has made up her mind to become a good doctor.
Nickname: Airborne Pirouette
Birthday: April 26
Fighting Style: Penetrating Polarity
The day that Beretta first came to the Colossus, she showed up with a dozen potted plants of all shapes and sizes, as well as two enormous bird cages. At the time, I thought she must've been quite a sophisticated person to indulge in these kinds of hobbies. It wasn't until later that I found out she was taking care of those birds and flowers on Raphael's orders to focus her mind and calm her down. Considering the plants have all but withered away, and the birds have made a nest on top of the Colossus, it doesn't seem like these tasks have helped her much. Even so, whenever a patient shows up at her door, Beretta becomes a totally different person: laser-focused, she dresses wounds and administers medical aid quickly and precisely, all the while comforting her patients with the utmost care! With such an incredible doctor aboard the Colossus, it seems we can all breathe a little easier regarding our health and wellness.
You like the way I treat wounds quickly and effectively? Why, thank you! Every second counts on the battlefield, so I do my best to work as efficiently as possible, sometimes without even realizing it! Unfortunately, it does nothing to help with my impatience, which is why Lady Raphael is personally training me now! Hahahaha! I remember my first time in the field: I could barely wrap a bandage because of the shock when I saw all the blood and broken bones! I still have to rely on my superiors a lot, even now... But I just hope that I can become as calm and reliable as Mr. John someday! Say... You don't think I'm being too hasty, do you?
It's true, some of the scars on my body are from my run-ins with Eclipsites; after all, a field medic is in just as much danger as any other soldier on the battlefield, and I have to do my part as well. If I keep my distance from the fighting, I have no way to protect the wounded or buy time for my colleagues to do the same. That's why I insist on training my body and my combat skills every day, but to tell you the truth, it can be a little exhausting, especially when you consider having to study and practice medicine on top of all that. But whenever I feel tired, I just touch this cross-shaped scar on my forehead, which was left after Mr. John performed life-saving surgery on me. It symbolizes my rebirth, as well as Mr. John's faith in me, and touching it reminds me to keep working hard and follow my dreams! Someday, I'll be just as great a doctor as he is; I just know it!
Why do I talk about Mr. John so much? He saved my life, you know! When I was young, I was diagnosed with a very serious illness, and every doctor who saw me refused to treat me because my chances of survival were slim to none. What do you make of that? Clearly, they were more interested in preserving their good standing than operating on a patient who still had a chance to live. And they called themselves doctors! Just when it seemed all hope was lost... That's when I met Mr. John. I still remember what he said back then: "Even the smallest chance of survival is a dying patient's greatest hope."
I spent three whole days on the operating table. When I woke up, I discovered that he had passed out from exhaustion after such a long and demanding surgery. The first thing he asked me after he regained consciousness was if I was feeling better... S-Sorry, it's just that whenever I think about Mr. John no longer being with us today, it makes me feel a little sad.
Of course I went looking for Mr. John as soon as I could move! But he left Lumopolis shortly after treating me, leading his team across the continent to treat any unfortunate Aurorians needing his services. That's right, his calling was what inspired my own dreams, and I can only hope that Mr. John's spirit will guide me in helping anyone plagued by injury or disease! I know I still have a long way to go, and I still need plenty of practical experience. But that's why I'm also working under Lady Raphael! On the one hand, I've learned plenty from following her around, but I can also sense the influence of her grandfather, Mr. John, in her work and attitude. It's a very powerful motivation source for me, constantly reminding me of my goals. No matter how hard things get, I will always feel better if Lady Raphael is at my side!
By the way, do you see a doctor for regular check-ups?
Navigator, I'm at the Lounge with Vice.
I have some good news to share with you!
Are you okay, Beretta? Carleen told me that you passed out today!
Have you had lunch yet?
Have you been having trouble sleeping lately?
Beretta is meant to give a medical lecture in Umbraton on behalf of the Lumopolis Medical Academy, but the residents there don't seem to welcome her.
Lumopolis is my hometown, as well as the source of all my medical expertise. It's a place that has always been supportive of me and my goals.
The folks in Umbraton are something else. Every time I go there, the streets are filled with the bruised and bloody thanks to all the fighting!
White Night up high!
The best way to treat Eclipsites... is without mercy!
Lady Raphael can seem a bit reckless sometimes, but I assure you that she's an excellent doctor!
Lady Carleen must have gone through a lot to become as strong as she is now. She's a real fighter, isn't she?
Feeding birds, watering plants, cleaning the room... These are just a few hobbies that Lady Raphael suggested I get into!
I can't stand a boring, complacent life. It wears down one's ambitions and robs them of their motivation to improve themselves.
The Colossus appears to be a living creature... Which means it can get sick or injured, just like the rest of us. When that happens, how do you go about treating it?
I hope my combat skills and medical expertise can keep improving like this every day!
Does someone need medical attention here?! What's that? You just need me to stand here? I guess... But how is this supposed to improve my skills as a doctor?
I'm not afraid of failure or anything... but it still hurts.
Happy New Year! I took half a day off to ring in the new year! Why just half a day? So I could use the other half to catch up on all my training for the day, of course!
I'll do my best!
Great, time to work even harder!
Just leave everything to me!
I'll be sure to reciprocate your faith in me.
Off to get some rest? Great, then I'll go study some of my medical textbooks. My time is very precious to me, so I have to make every second count!
Any progress is fantastic news!
If only I could be like Mr. John and lead an expert medical team that helps people all across Astra. There are still so many people suffering in the world that need treatment!
Combing Lady Raphael's hair always takes up so much time... Don't look at me like that! I never said I didn't enjoy it!
Even if a patient's chances of survival are slim, I refuse to give up on them! Just like those doctors who refused to give up on me.
I want to rescue all of my patients from the pain of their illnesses. But to realize that goal, I have to keep working as hard as possible.
Physical and Luminatics training are important for health, but you can't afford to neglect training your mind.
I've worked so hard all this time in anticipation of a chance like this, to realize my full potential! Thank you for believing in me; I won't let you down!
Now that we're friends, I also have a responsibility to ensure that you're always in good health! If you're ever feeling under the weather, don't hesitate to tell me, okay?
"Balance work and rest," you say? Sigh... Even though I constantly tell others the same, I sometimes have difficulty following my own advice. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try to make more time for rest.
So I got plenty of rest, just like you suggested... and now my work efficiency is through the roof! This works way better than pulling all-nighters, so thanks for the tip!
Make sure to attend routine medical check-ups! The sooner you discover a health problem, the easier it is to treat!
What on earth made Lady Raphael believe she could repair those damaged Fireflies with her Holy Water Shell...? Sorry, I'll go clean them up right away.
Our next battle will go even smoother, since I'm always improving myself!
Always be aware of your body's state of wellness. It's the only one you've got, after all!
Good morning! If you have any missions to do today, please bring me along. I know I can be of great use to the team!
Good evening! You were busy all day too, huh? I've had my nose buried in my medical texts since the morning!
It's getting late. You should get some rest soon. Me? I'm not tired at all! Besides, there's still time for me to practice my Luminatics!
I'm Beretta, the field medic, and I was ordered to provide support. Are you in charge of this Colossus? Is anyone injured? Take me to them, and I'll treat them right away!
Medical equipment is sterilized and ready to use!
As a field medic, my job is not only to support my allies, but also to reduce any other combat-related risks as much as possible. In order to perform my duties to the best of my ability, I have to work nonstop and keep improving myself!
I was seriously ill in the past, but a medical team led by Mr. John saved my life. The cross-shaped scar on my forehead isn't just a souvenir from that surgery; it's evidence of the skill and kindness of the doctors who rescued me.
Even though I'm frequently dispatched to any place that needs my help, I voluntarily chose to take care of Lady Raphael. She's an extremely gifted doctor, and I know I can learn a lot just by being at her side.
Alright, leave it to me!
+Unique Sniper-Healer hybrid
-Poor damage output, even on 1x1
-Largely outclassed by Philyshy for healing, and basically every other sniper for damage
Beretta is a tad underwhelming, even when factoring the utility her healing brings. Her damage is notably worse than even base Vice, and maps that require healing seldom demand the marginal DPS Beretta adds. More importantly, Philyshy exists, and offers a teleport and better healing. Beretta’s not bad, per se, but there are many, many welfare alternatives that are much more useful, even before accounting for Vice: Keen Sight.
